In the Tricity area (Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia) there are a numerous modern shopping galleries/malls with all the top mark and big brand shops including food halls where you can get a range of food from Chinese, Thai and local cuisine to fast food restaurants, ice cream parlours etc.
High street shops can also be found in the Tricity area and in local towns, the streets leading up to the town square are lined with shops selling local ware and tourist items all at very reasonable prices.
Good bargains can be found in leather goods and amber jewellery especially in the little shops just off the waterfront walkway.
The local markets in Gdynia and Gdansk are great for picking up bargains, you can try out your bartering skills and get the price down, if you’re shopping for alcohol and tobacco products then the local shops and supermarkets especially the bigger ones have a wide range and excellent prices.
